  • X Plus One: The Improvised 1940s Sci-Fi Radio Show

Improv from New York City, NY

AMNewYork calls X Plus One “the fake sci-fi radio show from the 1940s you never knew you needed!” and Time Out NY says, “You’re in for a wild night!” Come see for yourself and journey back in time to the Golden Age of Radio, when our heroes fought bravely against atomic saucers, ray guns, and metal men with their American can-do spirit! X Plus One's all-star rotating cast features Jonathan Desley, Lou Fernandez, Matt Giroveanu, Geoff Grimwood, Austin Sanders, Jeff Scherer, and Rachel Scherer, with the excellent David Armstrong on announcements, Foley, and music direction. Directed by Kevin Laibson.

  • Norah Yang: Test Show, Please Ignore

    Stand-Up from Shanghai, China

"Test Show, Please Ignore" is a stand-up comedy show performed by Norah Yang, one of the few Chinese female comics. She has the perfect, hilarious mix of "Girl next door" + "That drunken uncle at family picnics with no filter" that we love in a comedian. Norah is like going in to watch the movie Love, Actually but they accidentally play Bloodsport instead. You were looking forward to the first, but the second kicks more ass.

  • GayCo Productions

    Sketch from Chicago, IL

GayCo Productions, founded 22 years at Chicago’s famed Second City, has been winning awards for their unique brand of sketch comedy where “gay” is the given not the punchline. GayCo has performed their fabulous funnies all across North America and even one time in Amsterdam (we do not talk about that trip…) GayCo continues to create boundary-pushing comedy and foster up-and-coming LGBTQ talent in the Chicagoland area. We are thrilled to be part of this years Out of Bounds Fest!
